Our Story: A Legacy of Faith, Family, and Fashion
From Humble Beginnings to The Master’s Touch
Our story began in 1988, when my parents migrated from Jamaica to the United States with a dream and a deep-seated faith. After years of hard work and sacrifice, they became US citizens in 1999, a milestone that paved the way for a legacy that would change our community.

A Monumental First Step
In 2003, they opened their very first boutique at 51A Main Street in Orange, NJ. In a community filled with faithful churchgoers, my parents saw a need: there was nowhere for the community to find high-quality, elegant and affordable attire that reflected their spirit. They didn't just open a store; they provided a destination where every woman could experience The Master’s Touch!

A Family on a Mission
In 2006, our family relocated to Georgia, opening our second location in Jonesboro, GA. Whether in NJ or GA, family has always been at the center. From our eldest brother Peter (who took most of these photos from the beginning) to us, Petalieth and Primrose, and even our eldest niece Alex, (the baby pictured below), we grew up seeing what it means to build something from the ground up. By 2008, we took the "Master’s Touch" on the road, traveling to shows across the country to meet our clients face-to-face.

Led by Faith, Driven by Service
For over 30 years, my father has served as a Pastor—first in New Jersey and now in Georgia—with my mother right by his side. They have always used the blessings God provided to employ friends, family, and church members, never hesitating to help those in need.
When you shop with Master’s Touch Dresses, you aren't just buying a garment. You are supporting a family legacy built on faith, hard work, and a commitment to helping you look and feel your absolute best for the Glory of God.
